These days Moving house can be a time consuming and stressful event.
In order to minimise this, you have the option of electing your moving company to do your packing for you. Execu-move can pack your household goods.
Packing of breakables, clothing, paintings, etc. is usually done by Execu-move one day before the actual removal. Only clean, high-quality packing materials are used. It is essential to consider special wrapping for your most precious possessions. We want the goods to arrive at their destination in the same pristine condition as they left.
Our sales consultants will advise you on which items should be specially packed, wrapped and/or crated: Fine artwork, delicate crystal, china and your precious antiques, as well as your clothing and linen, will be safely and securely packed using specially designed and custom-made cartons and crates where appropriate.
It is not necessary for you to unpack cupboards and set out small articles such as glassware for our packers. It is simpler for us to pack these articles directly from the cupboards into the cartons. TIP: For your convenience at your destination, have a carton marked “OPEN ME FIRST” which might contain toiletries, medicine, tools, can opener and any items which your family would require immediately. Remind the foreman to load this carton so that it comes out first at the destination and is ready for you to unpack.

IF YOU DO YOUR OWN PACKING
If you are doing your own packing in advance it is essential that you unpack all drawers, cabinets and cupboards.
Do not leave any items in drawers as it is heavy and might cause damage to your furniture during the transportation.
Please note that all packing must be completed prior to the removal date. On the day of removal, our foreman will look around to get an impression of what is to be packed by us.
Please show him the entire residence. Also, point out any special packing, if all packing was not done the previous day.
After the furniture is loaded, please go through the house with him to confirm that all packing and removing has been done.
Inventories are made, detailing all items moved (long distance, international and storage moves only) and a copy will be handed to you prior to the departure of our vehicle as your receipt (proof) of items packed and loaded by us.
